Tumor Board

Expertise belongs everywhere care happens.

We connect people willing to help with communities ready to receive it, on home soil or across the world, whether that help is a surgeon, a server fix, or a story told well.

Tumor Board: global oncology expertise for every clinic.

It starts with one hospital in Ghana.

EP Church International Mission Hospital already brings outside expertise to a community that would otherwise go without. Tumor Board takes what one hospital does through relationships and phone calls, and makes it something any facility can do.

How it works

Every connection goes through a real person. No algorithms, no cold emails between strangers.

  1. A facility posts a need.

A clinic or hospital describes what would help, in plain words, from a phone if that's what's handy. We review every need before it goes public.

  2. People offer help.

Clinicians and non-clinicians claim a need or join the roster. Intake takes a minute. Paperwork comes later, only once there's a match.

  3. We make the introduction and coordinate.

A coordinator approves each match, introduces both sides, and stays in the thread. Contact details are never handed out directly.

Charity on home soil.

Help doesn't have to cross an ocean. Any facility, anywhere, including in the United States, can ask for local volunteers. A Tampa clinic can ask for Tampa nurses. A Volta Region hospital can ask for Ghanaian IT talent.

A surgeon, a server fix, or a story told well.

Cancer care depends on far more than clinicians. If you can keep a network up, repair a machine, write a grant, or teach, your skill counts here.

  • Clinical

Oncologists, surgeons, nurses, pharmacists, pathologists, radiologists, palliative and mental health clinicians.

  • Technology

Networks that stay up, electronic health records that work, telehealth that connects.

  • Operations

Supply chains, equipment repair, and the processes that keep a facility running.

  • Risk and compliance

Quality, safety, risk management, and legal know-how.

  • Coordination

Trip logistics, translation and interpreting, community outreach.

  • Storytelling and fundraising

Video, photography, writing, grant writing, and donor relations, always with consent.

  • Training

Medical educators and curriculum builders who teach the teachers.

Safe for patients. Fair to hosts.

Read our ethics & trust approach
Teach before treat
Visitors strengthen local teams first. Direct care happens only when the host asks.
No patient data
Needs describe the need, never a patient. No names, photos, or case details. Ever.
Reviewed by people
Two coordinators read every need, every offer, and every email before it goes anywhere.
A trust ladder
Badges show who has vouched for a facility or volunteer: unverified, site-confirmed, or partner-endorsed.
